1991 VG is a NEO asteroid discovered on November 6, 1991. On December 5, 1991 this asteroid passed 450,000 km (280,000 mi) away from Earth. Between 1991 and 1992, the asteroid circled Earth in a retrograde manner, so it can often be considered the first temporary Earth small moon discovered. 1991 VG is estimated to be between 5-12 meters in diameter.
