BD+14 4559, also known as Solaris, is a single K2V-type main-sequence star about 161 light-years away in the constellation Pegasus. A giant planet with a minimum mass of approximately 1.47 times that of Jupiter was discovered orbiting this star via the radial velocity method in 2009, with an orbital period of 268.9 days at a semi-major axis of 0.777 AU.
