Tabby's Star, also known as KIC 8462852, is a binary system of an F3V primary and an M2V companion about 1,446.7 light-years away in the constellation Cygnus. A candidate giant planet or brown dwarf was detected via transit and radial velocity observations, with an orbital period of at least 1,030 days and a mass of 9.4 +4.9/−4.1 times that of Jupiter.
