TrES-1, also known as TOI-1236 and GSC 02625-01324, is a binary star system composed of a K-type main-sequence star and a red dwarf, located in the constellation Lyra, about 523 light-years from the Solar System. Component A has a hot Jupiter, which completes an orbit in just 3 Earth days.
