K2-18, aka TOI-5555, is a red dwarf located about 124.02 light years from the solar system. Two planets are currently known to orbit this star: and inner non-transiting sub-Neptune mass planet and and outer transiting sub-Neptune residing in it's host's habitable zone. K2-18 b has been the target of several atmospheric studies over the years, current consensus lines K2-18 b up with other sub-Neptunes of its size and mass, with an atmosphere comprised of a high volatile content and relative low hydrogen content.
