K2-22 is a binary star system located 787.7 light-years from Earth, and in 2015 a mini-Neptune was discovered around K2-22A, which is only 1.32 million kilometers away from the main star and has an orbital period of only 9 hours, and it will completely disintegrate in the next 100,000 to 500,000 years
