TOI-269, also known as TIC 220479565, is a single M2-type main-sequence star about 186 light-years away in the constellation Pictor. A sub-Neptune with a 3.70-day orbital period was discovered via the transit method, whose planet has a mass of approximately 8.8 Earth masses (0.028 Jupiter masses) and a radius of 2.77 Earth radii . The planet has an unusually high orbital eccentricity of 0.425, making it one of the most eccentric sub-Neptunes known with a period under 10 days .
