HD 45364 is a single K0V-type main-sequence star located about 112 light-years away in the constellation Canis Major . A system of two giant planets was discovered orbiting this star via the radial velocity method in 2009 . The inner planet has a minimum mass of approximately 0.19 times that of Jupiter (about 60 Earth masses) with an orbital period of about 226 days , while the outer planet has a minimum mass of approximately 0.66 times that of Jupiter (about 210 Earth masses) with an orbital period of about 343 days . The two planets are in a 3:2 mean-motion resonance, making this the first exoplanetary system discovered in such a configuration .
