NASA's Pegasus project are a trio of satellites designed to measure the frequency of micrometeoroid impacts on spacecraft in LEO. Operating between 1965 and 1968, these satellites provided valuable data in the space environment that helped in preparing Project Apollo's crewed missions to the Moon.
