Wolf 359 is the fifth-nearest star system to Sol (counting brown dwarf systems), only 7.9 light-years away in the constellation Leo. It is a red dwarf star, potentially hosting a candidate planet. A second candidate planet was refuted in 2021; the radial velocity signal was actually caused by the rotation of the star.
