Pleiades, also known as M 45, is a well-known open cluster about 442.7 light-years away in the constellation Taurus. It is the brightest star cluster seen from the naked eye, having been observed by many cultures since the ancient times. It is dominated by hot blue luminous stars that have formed within the last 100 million years
NOTE: This addon adds nebulosity to the surrounding stars of the cluster, as well as updating its distances relative to Earth
