AB Doradus, also known as HD 36705 and HIP 25647, is a four-star system consisting of a K-type main-sequence star and three red dwarfs, located about 50 light-years from the Solar System in the constellation Dorado. The primary star, AB Doradus A, has a mass of about 86% that of the Sun, while its companions AB Doradus C, AB Doradus Ba, and AB Doradus Bb have masses of 9%, 28%, and 25% of the Sun, respectively. The primary star's rotation rate is 50 times that of the Sun, indicating that this star has a strong magnetic field. The binary system AB Doradus Ba/Bb orbits the primary star at a distance of 135 astronomical units, while AB Doradus C orbits the primary star at a distance of 5 astronomical units, taking about 12 years to complete one orbit. However, subsequent studies have shown that AB Doradus C (with 72 times the mass of Jupiter) has a massive object (possibly a super-Jupiter or a low-mass brown dwarf) named AB Doradus Cb, which has 13 times the mass of Jupiter. Note:This add-ons add 4 fictional exomoons to AB Doradus Cb.
