KOI-5819 is a Sun-like star about 2,700 light-years away in the constellation Cygnus. In 2014, a transit signal detected on this star indicates the possible existence of a large rocky planet orbiting within the star's habitable zone. Once confirmed, it would be listed among the most Earth-like planets ever discovered
