WASP-30 is a single F8V-type main-sequence star about 1,161 light-years away in the constellation Aquarius. A brown dwarf with a mass of approximately 61.7 times that of Jupiter and a radius of 0.96 times that of Jupiter was discovered transiting this star in 2010, with an orbital period of 4.1567786 days.
