C/2022 E3 (ZTF)

C/2022 E3 (ZTF) is the fifth comet discovered by the Zwicky Transient Facility. It barely reached naked eye visibility at magnitude 5.0 by early 2023, while passing about 42 million km from Earth. The 1.62-km wide comet is expected to be ejected from the Solar System on its outbound flight.
