Eta Ceti (η Cet), also known as 31 Ceti or HD 6805, is a single K-type giant star approximately 123.9 light-years away in the constellation Cetus. It is a red clump giant with a mass of about 1.7 M☉. In 2014, two massive planetary companions were discovered orbiting Eta Ceti via the radial velocity method. The system's two planets are in or near a 2:1 mean-motion resonance.
