K2-33b is a "hot Neptune" exoplanet discovered by the Kepler Space Telescope in 2016. About 456 light-years away from Earth in the constellation Scorpio, this planet is estimated to be 9.3 million years old and in 2022, follow-up observations reveal that it may be surrounded by a dusty ring system of its own
