HW Virginis is an eclipsing binary star system consisting of a red dwarf and a blue subdwarf about 590 light-years away in the constellation Virgo. It was claimed in 2008 that two massive super-Jovian planets orbit both stars, but subsequent observations especially in 2018 and 2021 proved that it is far too chaotic in short timespans if such objects exist within the star system
