CT Chamaeleontis, also known as CHXR 13 and PDS 44, is a K-type main-sequence star located about 625 light-years from the Solar System in the constellation Chamaeleon. In 2008, a companion to this star (a super-Jupiter or brown dwarf) was confirmed, with a semi-major axis of approximately 440 AU and a mass about 17 times that of Jupiter. However, in March 2026, a paper from arXiv adjusted the mass of CT Chamaeleontis b to 9.7 times the mass of Jupiter.
