The Escape and Plasma Acceleration and Dynamics Explorers (EscaPADE) is a low-cost NASA mission consisting of two spacecraft, Blue and Gold, to study the Martian magnetosphere and its interaction with the solar wind. Both probes were launched from a New Glenn rocket on 13 November 2025, and waited for nearly a year in Earth-Sun L2 point before cruising to Mars, which is expected to arrive at the Red Planet by 2027
