WASP-5, also known as TOI-250, is a G-type main-sequence star located in the constellation Phoenix, about 1,020 light-years from Earth. It has an exoplanet named WASP-5b, discovered by the SuperWASP project in 2007. This planet is a typical "hot Jupiter," with a mass of about 1.637 times that of Jupiter, a radius of about 1.171 times that of Jupiter, and an extremely short orbital period of only 1.628 days.
