WASP-84, also known as BD+02 2056, is a carbon-rich and young G-type main-sequence star located about 327 light-years from the Solar System in the constellation Hydra. This star has two planets: a hot Jupiter (WASP-84 b) and a giant rocky planet (WASP-84 c). The inner planet, WASP-84 c, has a mass 15.2 times that of Earth and completes an orbit in 1.45 Earth days. The outer planet, WASP-84 b, has a mass 220 times that of Earth and completes an orbit in only 8.5 Earth days.
