Author(s): SevenSpheres

Release date:

HD 147513 is a wide binary system consisting of a G-type star and a white dwarf, 42 light-years away in the constellation Scorpius. The primary star hosts a gas giant planet on a somewhat eccentric orbit within the habitable zone. The system seems to be fairly young, with an age of less than a billion years. It's one of just a few systems known to have both white dwarfs and planets.

A fictional rocky moon with small bodies of water on its surface is included in the Fictional: Planets & Systems category.
