Comet Tsuchinshan–ATLAS, also known as C/2023 A3, is one of the brightest comets of the 21st century. It reached magnitude –4.9 at its maximum brightness, and remained visible to the naked eye from September and October 2024. Today, it is dubbed as the "Great Comet of 2024"
