WASP-173, also known as KELT-22 and TOI-241, is a binary star system consisting of a G-type main sequence star (component A) and a G/K-type star (component B), located approximately 768 light-years from the Solar System in the constellation Sculptor . In 2018, a hot Jupiter orbiting component A with an orbital period of only 1.39 days was discovered via the transit method , whose planet has a mass of approximately 3.69 times that of Jupiter and a radius of 1.2 times that of Jupiter .
