HD 206893, also known as HIP 107412, is about 132.953 light-years away from Earth. It is a binary star system consisting of an F-type main-sequence star and an L-type brown dwarf. Component A is known to be orbited by a gas giant with a mass of about 12.7 times that of Jupiter. In November 2025, a report indicated tentative astrometric residuals for HD 206893 B. If interpreted as signs of an exomoon, these residuals correspond to a candidate moon (HD 206893 B I) with an orbital period of about 0.76 years and a mass of roughly 0.4 times that of Jupiter. However, these residuals could also be due to systematic errors, and it cannot be confirmed at present.
