Kamino is an extragalactic ocean world located around 12 parsecs outside the Rishi Maze. The Republic's Grand Army were secretly bred here until it was discovered by Obi-Wan Kenobi whilst finding the bounty hunter, Jango Fett, shortly before the Clone Wars in 22 BBY. It is only one of two known extragalactic planets in Star Wars lore to date
