Proxima Centauri c is a candidate exoplanet which signals were previously detected through radial velocity method in 2020. However, follow-up studies in 2022 later cast doubt on the accuracy of its supposed signals, which was initially attributed to a ring system around the planet, but this doesn't rule out its existence completely
