Moon: Statio Cognitum

Statio Cognitum is a name given to the landing site of two US space missions located on the northern shore of Mare Cognitum, in itself within Oceanus Procellarum. Both Surveyor 3 and Apollo 12 explored this region in 1967 and 1969 respectively
