2014 AA is a small Apollo group asteroid discovered on January 1, 2014 by Richard Kowalski at the Mount Lemmon Survey. 21 hours after its discovery, the 2-4 meter asteroid entered Earth's atmosphere over the Atlantic Ocean, far from any landmass.
