Kepler-879, also known as KOI-1522, is a G-type main-sequence star located about 2,647.59 light-years from the Solar System, in the constellation Cygnus. This star has two planets: a hot terran and a sub-Neptune, one with an orbital period of only 15.5 hours, and the other with an orbital period of 33.4 days.
