Lunar Gateway

The Lunar Gateway was a planned space station that was initially expected to host Artemis missions from lunar NRHO by November 2027. Due to scheduling and budget issues, the Gateway was cancelled on March 2026, in favor of the creation of surface Moon base. Some parts, especially the PPE, are being repurposed as part of a Mars mission called SR-1 (Freedom)

ADDITIONAL (OPTIONAL) ADDONS

Since October 2023, all visiting missions to the space station are separated into their own co-dependent addons. These are the following:

• Blue Moon HLS
• Project Artemis
• SpaceX Dragon-XL
• Starship HLS
