NGC 6302, also known as the Bug Nebula, is a complex planetary nebula located about 3,359 light-years away in the constellation Scorpius. Its central star, a white dwarf first identified by Hubble in 2009, is one of the hottest stars ever known, with surface temperatures reaching up to 250,000°C
