Kepler-13 is a triple star system consisting of two A-type main sequence stars and a red dwarf located about 1711.84 lightyears from the solar system. One of the A-type stars (A) does not possess a stellar companion, instead it hosts a mildly reflective ultra-hot Jupiter on a 1.76 day orbit.
