6P/d'Arrest

6P/d'Arrest is a periodic comet of the Jupiter family with an orbital period of 6.54 years. It was first observed by Heinrich Ludwig d'Arrest in June 1851. Comet d'Arrest was one of the targets of NASA's CONTOUR spacecraft launched in 2002, but communication with the spacecraft was lost and the mission failed.
