GJ 1018 is an M-type main sequence star located about 71.72 lightyears from the solar system. A single rocky planet with a low(ish) density orbits the star (b= 1.52 Re, 2.68 Me). Given the planet's density, it is likely to have a hydrosphere, estimated to be about 479 km thick around a rocky mantle and core.
