101955 Bennu is a C-type near-Earth asteroid of the Apollo group about 490 m in diameter. It is the highest risk rating of any potentially hazardous asteroid on the Palermo scale, where it has a 1-in-1800 chance of colliding with Earth between 2178 and 2290. Bennu is the primary target of NASA's OSIRIS-REx mission, which it studied from 2018 to 2021, and collected samples from it in 2020.
