HD 177830 is located 204.62 light-years away from Earth and consists of a binary system consisting of K-type and M-type stars. In this system, two larger gas giant planets orbit a K-type star, with an orbital period of 110 Earth days for the inner planet and 410 Earth days for the outer planet.
