HD 2638, also known as HIP 2350, is a binary star system composed of a G-type star and a red dwarf, located 179.5 light-years from Earth. In 2005, a research team discovered an exoplanet orbiting component A, which has 48% of Jupiter's mass and an orbital period of about just 3 days.
