VHS J1256-1257 is a binary system of two low-mass red dwarf stars or massive brown dwarfs, about 69 light-years away in the constellation Corvus. The pair is orbited by a massive planet or sub-brown dwarf, which has been observed to have silicate clouds in its atmosphere.
