Andoria is one of the four founding members of the United Federation of Planets. It is an icy, Earth-like moon orbiting the eighth of 13 planets within its star system. Its sentient inhabitants, the Andorians, were among humanity's first extraterrestrial allies after the Vulcans, after their positive first contact occurred in June 2151.
