Kepler-725
Author(s): Galaxy-Leaper
Release date:
Kepler-725, also known as KOI-918, is a G-type main sequence star located 2,528.538 light-years away from Earth. As of August 2025, signals from two planets have been detected, one being a gas giant and the other a sub-Neptune or hydrogen ocean planet. Among them, Kepler-725 c was discovered using the Transit Timing Variation. Recent studies indicate that Kepler-725 c has a relatively high orbital inclination and eccentricity, which significantly reduces the planet's habitability.
