1I/'Oumuamua is the first known interstellar object ever discovered. It is about 100 x 1000 m in length and 230 x 35 x 35 m wide, resembling a flat pancake. It made its closest approach to the Sun just 40 days before it was discovered by the Pan-STARRS telescope in Hawaii
