Orel, formerly known as Federatsiya and the PTK-NP, is a Russian crewed spacecraft currently in development. It is intended to eventually replace the Soyuz in supporting space station transportation and later serve as the counterpart to Orion in lunar operations. As of April 2026, its first flight is scheduled for March 2028.
