17 Scorpii, also known as Chi Scorpii and HD 145897, is a single, K-type giant star about 448 light-years away in the constellation Scorpius. A superjovian planet was discovered orbiting this star in 2020 via the radial velocity method, with an orbital period of 573.4 days. It is estimated that the mass of this planet is at least 4.32 times that of Jupiter.
