KELT-1 is a binary star system composed of an F-type main-sequence star and a red dwarf, located 857.8 light-years from Earth. In 2012, an object with a mass approximately 27.23 times that of Jupiter was discovered, and it was later confirmed to be a short-period brown dwarf.
