KELT-3, also known as BD 41 2024, is a binary star system consisting of an F-type star and a K-type star, located about 681 light-years from Earth in the constellation Leo Minor. Component A has a bloated hot Jupiter with a mass 1.94 times that of Jupiter, orbiting in just 2.7 Earth days, with an eccentricity of 0.202.
