22P/Kopff is a Jupiter-family comet that currently completes an orbit around the Sun once every 6.35 years. Discovered in 1906, it was originally selected as the main target of the Comet Rendezvous and Asteroid Flyby (CRAF) mission before it was cancelled for budgetary reasons
