Kamino is an extragalactic ocean world located around 12 parsecs outside the Rishi Maze. The Republic's Grand Army were secretly bred here until it was discovered by Obi-Wan Kenobi whilst finding the bounty hunter, Jango Fett, shortly before the Clone Wars in 22 BBY.
