Kepler-69 is a G-type main-sequence star similar to the Sun about 2,430±30 light-years away in the constellation Cygnus. On 2013-Apr-18 it was announced that the star has two planets, one of which was formerly considered to be potentially habitable before it turns out to be inhospitable to life.
